These terms are a starting template for AEC Forge and should be reviewed by your own legal counsel before you rely on them. Last updated: August 2026.
1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AEC Forge marketplace and the AEC Forge Tools (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, listing a product, purchasing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account. You must keep your credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized use. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Marketplace roles
Vendors list and sell digital products (scripts, add-ins, templates, tools) and services. Buyers purchase those products and services. AEC Forge operates the platform that connects them and processes orders; except where expressly stated, AEC Forge is not the seller of vendor listings.
4. Vendor terms
Vendors are solely responsible for their listings, deliverables, licenses, support, and legal compliance, and warrant that they have the rights to sell what they list. A platform commission (0% at launch; a standard rate applies thereafter, communicated in advance) is recorded on each completed sale, and is voided automatically on refunds and cancellations. Vendor earnings are paid out through the payout method the vendor provides, less commissions and any applicable fees. Uploaded files are restricted to an approved file-type list; executable web scripts are never permitted.
5. Buyer terms & licenses
Digital products are licensed, not sold. Unless a vendor’s listing states otherwise, a purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license subject to the vendor’s stated terms and any license-key activation limits. Services are delivered per the tier and scope described in the listing.
6. AEC Forge Tools & credits
AEC Forge Tools are first-party, pay-per-use AI tools. Credits are a prepaid digital entitlement consumed only when a tool run succeeds; failed runs are never charged. Credits do not expire and have no cash value. Because credits grant immediate access to AI processing, purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by law. Tool output is a drafting aid generated by an AI model — you are responsible for reviewing it against your contract documents and professional judgment before use. The Service is not a substitute for licensed engineering, legal, or design advice.
7. Payments, taxes & refunds
Prices are shown at checkout and charged through our payment processor. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless collected at checkout. Refunds for vendor products and services follow our Refund & Returns Policy and the vendor’s stated policy; credits are governed by Section 6.
8. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, including: violating any law or third-party rights; uploading malware or infringing content; attempting to gain unauthorized access; scraping, overloading, or abusing the tools or APIs; or reselling access without authorization. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
You retain rights to content you submit; vendors retain rights to their products subject to the licenses they grant. The AEC Forge platform, branding, and first-party tools remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. AEC Forge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts, products, or services of vendors. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
