Frequently asked questions
How do vendors get paid?
You add a PayPal email or Stripe account ID in your dashboard. Earnings accrue per completed sale and are paid out on our schedule. At launch the platform commission is 0%.
What file types can vendors upload?
zip, xlsx, xlsm, csv, json, py, gh, ghx, dyn, rvt, rfa, ifc — Revit, IFC, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Python, Excel and more. Executable web scripts are never allowed.
Do credits expire?
No. AEC Forge Tools credits never expire, and you’re only charged when a run succeeds.
Is my tool input private?
Tool input is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your result and is not retained longer than needed. Don’t paste confidential information you aren’t authorized to share. See our Privacy Policy.
How do license keys work?
Licensed products issue a key on purchase, with an activation limit the vendor sets. Tools validate against our public REST API. See the Vendor Guide.
